Director of Programming for Xbox Live Larry Hyrb (better known to most as Major Nelson) has announced the top 20 Xbox Live games of 2008 on MajorNelson.com. Halo 3 tops the list of Xbox 360 Live titles while the Too Human downloadable demo found itself on the bottom of the short list at number 20.
Meanwhile, on the Xbox Live Arcade scene, Castle Crashers (which was released in August of this year) colonized the number one position, beating out both Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and the critically acclaimed Braid. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 rounded out the top 20, securing a spot just beneath Marble Blast Ultra (which was released just a few months after the initial 360 launch about three years ago).
