Tonight, between 5:50 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. PST, ESPN will air a new one-minute long trailer for Halo 3. If you don't have ESPN, you'll be able to head over to Xbox.com at 8:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, December 5 and check it out. The trailer will also eventually be made available for download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Today is also when you can register for the Halo 3 beta at the official Halo 3 website.
The Halo 3 beta is scheduled to begin in spring 2007. Microsoft has not revealed how many slots will be made available for the beta test. As of noon, the Halo 3 website still says, "Check Back 12.04.06." Chances are that registration won't be made available until after the commercial airs later tonight. Still, we'll be sure to keep an eye on the website and let you know as soon as registration for the beta opens up.
