In related news, DICE GM Karl Troedsson has revealed to a Games.on.net that the Battlefield 3 campaign will take roughly 12 hours to complete. Troedsson said the focus is on the game's multiplayer modes, but DICE hopes to attract new players to the franchise with a decent campaign.

Battlefield 3 is being developed for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is set for release sometime this fall.
