Six new maps highlight a DLC day for BioShock 2.
Big Daddy got held up at Fighting McDonagh's Tavern, but after a brief delay the Rapture Metro Pack is ready to launch. The multiplayer expansion pack DLC for
BioShock 2 is live today on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
In addition to the six new maps and three new achievments/trophies in Rapture Metro, 2K is also launching two additional DLC packs today. Kill 'Em' Kindly is a free multiplayer mode where players make like Phil Mickelson and fight to the death with golf clubs. And the Character Pack adds two new characters to the multiplayer experience.
The Rapture Metro pack is available for 800 MS Points on Live and for $9.99 on PSN. The Character Pack runs 160 MS Points/$1.99. 2K said in a brief statement that the new DLC will soon be available for PC through Games for Windows Live.
Sharkey says: 2K promised a ton of DLC for BioShock 2, and the developer is thus far delivering. But what I'm waiting on is DLC that will expand the single-player campaign. Kill 'Em' Kindly sounds sadistically fun, but Rapture will always be about the single-player experience, for me.
