BioShock 2 comes out in November in the U.S., October in Europe.
Gamasutra is reporting that BioShock 2's release date was revealed today during Take-Two's second-quarter results call. The game is set for release on October 30th for Europe, while we here in North America will get to dive back into the sea on November 3rd.

Talk to the hand, the diving mask don't understand.
Also discussed during the call was the possible implementation of DLC as a key strategy for future Take-Two releases Take-Two President Ben Feder said major releases will have post-release content, such as what's been seen in GTA4, as this is a big part of the company's plan for revenue. Does this mean we could get a series of downloadable BioShock stories?
Anthony says:
I know that a lot of people are out there looking for reasons to hate
BioShock 2, but I've seen it myself, and think it could be a lot of fun. It may be in the hands of a different studio, but it's a studio that's hired more than one of the original BioShock team members. Sure there's a chance that BioShock 2 might not live up to our expectations, but, in my case, if it lives up to half of them than it will be pretty damn good. After all, who doesn't want to spend a little more time in Rapture?
