Jack Black's voice is very distinct and works perfectly for the voice of Eddie, the metalhead hero of Brutal Legend. And while no one can say he's been anything less than great for the game's PR, it isn't entirely due to his being a comedian, but also to his extensive knowledge of how to be metal. Need proof? Anthony says: I haven't had a chance to play Brutal Legend, but having seen it a lot I feel I can safely say that Jack Black's voice acting is top notch. Executive Editor Ryan Scott and I laughed more than once when we saw an extensive demo, and it was obvious to me that Black really put all of his dark metal soul into each ridiculous line. I'm willing to bet that if you end up playing this game around people who don't play games, but who appreciate Black's comedy, they'll still enjoy themselves quite a bit.
