In his weekly podcast, Major Nelson interviewed Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, and the new map pack, which Activision announced yesterday in a press release lean on details, was a hot topic of conversation.
Bowling said three of the five maps will be all new maps, but like the Stimulus Package, two maps will be updated versions of Modern Warfare battlegrounds. Vacant, the one-story Russian office building, and Strike, the square of apartment complexes with the statue in the courtyard, are making their way to Modern Warfare 2.

The three new maps will be Carnival, Trailer Park, and Fuel. In Carnival, players will navigate an abandoned amusement park, complete with fun house and Ferris wheel. Trailer Park is a small, tight map filled with mobile homes. And Bowling described Fuel as a "sniper haven" set in an oil refinery.
As for price, Resurgence will also be set at a Stimulus Package price of 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15. Resurgence is set to launch on Xbox Live on June 3. Release dates for the PlayStation 3 and PC have not yet been announced.
