Wolfenstein Q&A

You've got questions, we've got answers. If you need help with something you didn't find in our guide, please shoot us an e-mail question and we'll do our best to answer. We'll publish the best and most common questions here.
Ask a question!
Question Does Wolfenstein have an online mode?
Answer Indeed it does. All three versions of Wolfenstein (Xbox360, PS3, and PC) have online options. There is no multiplayer option for the main campaign, but there are three unique modes of play online. Better yet, there's an online power-up, level-up and ranking system to give you incentive to keep playing. Just like in Wolfenstein's last iteration on PC, PS2 and Xbox, half of the fun with this title can be found online.

Question What are the three kinds of collectibles in the game? Where do I find them?
Answer Wolfenstein is rife with collectibles. There are hundreds of them in the game, but there are only three fundamental types. The most common form of collectible is Gold, which comes in three types -- $100, $250 and $500 quantities. This money is used to buy upgrades and ammunition for your arsenal. The second type of collectible is Intel, usually in the form of a clipboard. Intel can be found everywhere, and though less common than Gold, has its own unique uses, primarily in the way of unlocking upgrades to purchase for your weapons. And finally, there's Tomes of Power, the rarest collectible. Tomes of Power give your Veil powers special benefits, so it behooves you to find those as well.

Question Does this game have side quests?
Answer Yes. In addition to the ten or so main quests in the game, there are five optional side quests you can find strewn around Isenstadt. These side quests are typically much shorter than main quests, and can be completed in ten or fifteen minutes. However, you undertake them, you'll need to find the giver of said side quest. They unlock at random times throughout the game, and the person who gives the side quest will be marked on the map as a green icon.

Question What's the best weapon in the game?
Answer I think there are two answers to this question. It should go without saying that all weapons have their specific uses, but your best friends are going to undoubtedly become the Kar98 and MP43. Once both of these weapons are all suped-up (which should be a priority for you), you will have two of the most useful weapons in your arsenal. The Kar98, scoped, will be an awesome weapon for picking enemies off from afar, or during an entrenched firefight. For faster-moving targets and higher volumes of enemies, you'll find the MP43, fully-stocked, to be a good friend of yours as well. These are no doubt the two best weapons in the game.
