Although it's easy to argue that Grand Theft Auto IV was superior to the previous GTA titles in a number of ways, there was one notable area in which it couldn't measure up. You see, one of the best features of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was the ability to hop in a plane and spend a little time exploring the friendly skies before leaping out and drifting over the massive world with CJ's trusty parachute. Alas, that didn't make it into Grand Theft Auto IV... until now, maybe.

Geronimo!

While nothing has been confirmed, a teaser image that Rockstar released to promote the first trailer for The Ballad of Gay Tony very clearly shows the DLC's hero, Luis Fernando Lopez, jumping out of what appears to be a helicopter. Does this mean parachutes will be included in the DLC? Will we be able to fly planes or are we still limited to helicopters? Sounds like we'll find out more tomorrow when the trailer hits the 'net.

Will says: Wow, I'll be pretty psyched if this is indeed true. Not only did I play a ton of GTA IV, but I also played a massive amount of San Andreas. In fact, there were times when I loaded up the game just to spend some time flying around, parachuting into an airport, and repeating over and over. Kinda weird, I know, but for some reason I found it relaxing to just cruise around listening to tunes at 30,000 feet. Here's hoping they bring back the planes!
