Microsoft announced today that new downloadable content has been released for both Vampire Rain and Project Sylpheed. Coming just a few weeks after these games hit store shelves, Microsoft is delivering some new levels for early adopters.
Project Sylpheed players can now download an additional six missions as well as six new super-weapons and leaderboards. Meanwhile, those suffering the trauma of Vampire Rain can download two new levels focused on the game's stealth premise. If that's still not enough Vampire Rain content for you, you could always hit up the official site to download new in-game music.
Are we the only ones weirded out by the fact that these games just came out and now there's new downloadable content already being released for them? We can't really complain, because the content is free, after all, but it still strikes us as a bit odd. Could this be further evidence to support the fear that access to digital delivery systems might result in publishers releasing games before they're finished?
