Not ready to ship with full release next week, Co-Op will come as expansion DLC.
Exterminatus is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine's take on Horde mode, and it's bringing four-player co-op action to the soon-to-be-released shooter in a DLC expansion sometime in October.
Relic Entertainment announced that Exterminatus will allow up to four Space Marines to take on unlimited waves of progressively difficult enemies. Players will earn points for kills, and be able to upgrade weaponry, with say, an item like the Power Axe. See it in chopping action below:
Exterminatus will not be ready to ship with the full game, Relic said, but will arrive in the form of a free DLC expansion sometime in October.
Spy Guy says: Horde mode is all the rage these days, and with good reason: it's a blast. And with Horde mode 2.0 in Gears 3, Arena in the Witcher 2 v. 2.0, the new survival mode in MW3 Spec Ops, and now Exterminatus in Space Marine, fans will soon have their fill of endless waves of enemies fun.
