With Frank Rooke (Lead Game Designer), David Hasle (Producer), and Brian Legge (Lead Engineer) available, we asked all the questions that had been on our mind since that over-the-top and really intriguing Condemned 2 teaser trailer. Here's what we got from them.

GameSpy: The ending of Condemned: Criminal Origins left a lot of balls in the air, story wise. Can we expect a more fleshed-out background and story in Bloodshot? In addition, will we get a resolution on Ethan's story?
Rooke: Absolutely! Actually, the story in Condemned 2: Bloodshot will give the player an in-depth peek into the Condemned universe... not just for Ethan but the many lives affected by the unspeakable evil that has devastated the city.

GameSpy: How strongly does working without the looming pressure of a console launch influence those decisions? How quickly is the production process catching up to the next-gen machines?
Hasle: There is a strong sense of relief when we get to work with a production process and console engine that has gone through a complete cycle. Combined with an experienced team that is nearly identical to the Condemned: Criminal Origins team, we get to focus on less of the technical challenges and more of the gameplay challenges. Our game engineers have had a lot more freedom for Condemned 2: Bloodshot to develop some great systems for the level designers to exploit.
