THQ calls it a "Title Update," some people would call it a "patch," but no matter what the name, the improvements are still the same. Starting today, when owners of The Outfit boot up their Xbox 360s and hook up to Live, an automatic download will begin. This download will include improvements for online play, such as allowing players to speak to each other in the lobby both before and after matches and displaying the connection speed of each player in a lobby.
Another change lets you earn Multiplayer Achievements while participating in Ranked Custom Match and Ranked Quick Match sessions. Other gameplay improvements include tweaks to how vehicles perform in multiplayer games, adjustments to anti-aircraft emplacements, similar tweaks to tanks and halftracks, and adjustments to the FU cost of certain items. It seems like "updates" to console games are becoming more and more common nowadays, but thankfully, this one is completely free.
